We believe that Jesus rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven to be at His father&#8217;s right hand. We believe that Jesus will come again to take his church (His people, not a building) to heaven with him, and then will return a final time to rule during the Millennial Kingdom. &#8220;And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.&#8221; \u2014<em>John 1:14<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"\u2665 Lord You&#039;re Holy \u2665 Worship (Karen Wheaton)\" width=\"780\" height=\"585\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_X3GO7Ov7b0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Names of Jesus Christ<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Almighty One \u2013 \u201c\u2026who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.\u201d Rev. 1:8<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Alpha and Omega \u2013 \u201cI am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.\u201d Rev. 22:13<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Advocate \u2013 \u201cMy dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father&#8211;Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.\u201d 1 John 2:1<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Author and Perfecter of Our Faith \u2013 \u201cFixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.\u201d Heb. 12:2<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Authority \u2013 \u201cJesus said, \u2018All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.\u201d Matt. 28:18<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Bread of Life \u2013 \u201cThen Jesus declared, \u2018I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.\u2019\u201d John 6:35<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Beloved Son of God \u2013 \u201cAnd behold, a voice from heaven said, \u201cThis is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.\u201d Matt. 3:17<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8. Bridegroom \u2013 \u201cAnd Jesus said to them, \u201cCan the wedding guests mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? The days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast.\u201d Matt. 9:15<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9. Chief Cornerstone \u2013 \u201cThe stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone.\u201d Ps. 118:22<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>10. Deliverer \u2013 \u201cAnd to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.\u201d 1 Thess.1:10<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>11. Faithful and True \u2013 \u201cI saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice, he judges and wages war.\u201d Rev.19:11<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>12. Good Shepherd &#8211; \u201cI am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.\u201d John 10:11<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>13. Great High Priest \u2013 \u201cTherefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.\u201d Heb. 4:14<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>14. Head of the Church \u2013 \u201cAnd he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church.\u201d Eph. 1:22<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>15. Holy Servant \u2013 \u201c\u2026and grant that Your bond-servants may speak Your word with all confidence, while You extend Your hand to heal, and signs and wonders take place through the name of Your holy servant Jesus.&#8221; Acts 4:29-30<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>16. I Am \u2013 \u201cJesus said to them, \u201cTruly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.\u201d John 8:58<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>17. Immanuel \u2013 \u201c\u2026She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel, which means &#8216;God with us.\u2019\u201d Is. 7:14<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>18. Indescribable Gift \u2013 \u201cThanks be to God for His indescribable gift.\u201d 2 Cor. 9:15<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>19. Judge \u2013 \u201c\u2026he is the one whom God appointed as judge of the living and the dead.\u201d Acts 10:42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>20. King of Kings \u2013 \u201cThese will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful.\u201d Rev. 17:14<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>21. Lamb of God \u2013 \u201cThe next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, &#8220;Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!\u201d John 1:29<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>22. Light of the World \u2013 &#8220;I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.&#8221; John 8:12<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>23. Lion of the Tribe of Judah \u2013 \u201cWeep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.\u201d Rev. 5:5<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>24. Mighty One \u2013 \u201cThen you will know that I, the Lord, am your Savior, your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.\u201d Is. 60:16<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>28. One Who Sets Free \u2013 \u201cSo if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.\u201d John 8:36<br>29. Our Hope \u2013 \u201c\u2026Christ Jesus our hope.\u201d 1 Tim. 1:1<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>30. Peace \u2013 \u201cFor he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility,\u201d Eph. 2:14<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>31. Prophet \u2013 \u201cAnd Jesus said to them, \u201cA prophet is not without honor, except in his hometown and among his relatives and in his own household.\u201d Mark 6:4<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>32. Redeemer \u2013 \u201cAnd as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last, He will take His stand on the earth.\u201d Job 19:25<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>33. Risen Lord \u2013 \u201c\u2026that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.\u201d 1 Cor. 15:3-4<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>34. Rock \u2013 \u201cFor they drank from the spiritual Rock that followed them, and the Rock was Christ.\u201d 1 Cor. 10:4<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>35. Sacrifice for Our Sins \u2013 \u201cThis is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.\u201d 1 John 4:10<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>36. Savior \u2013 \u201cFor unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.\u201d Luke 2:11<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>37. Son of Man \u2013 \u201cFor the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.&#8221; Luke 19:10<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>38. Son of the Most High \u2013 \u201cHe will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David.\u201d Luke 1:32<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>39. Supreme Creator Over All \u2013 \u201cBy Him, all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities&#8211; all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him, all things hold together.\u2026\u201d 1 Cor. 1:16-17<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>40. Resurrection and the Life \u2013 \u201cJesus said to her, &#8220;I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.\u201d John 11:25<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>41. The Door \u2013 \u201cI am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.\u201d John 10:9<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>42. The Way \u2013 \u201cJesus answered, &#8220;I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.\u201d John 14:6<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>43. The Word \u2013 \u201cIn the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.\u201d John 1:1<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>44. True Vine &#8211; &#8220;I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.\u201d John 15:1<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>45. Truth \u2013 \u201cAnd you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.&#8221; John 8:32<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>46. Victorious One \u2013 \u201cTo the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.\u201d Rev. 3:21<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>47. \u2013 50. Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace \u2013 \u201cFor to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.
