Some of the things you will learn from the bible are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What God has done throughout history<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What God&#8217;s interaction with mankind has been<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What God expects of us<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What God has promised us<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What prophecies has God given us<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What promises and prophecies from God have been fulfilled<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What promises and prophecies from God will be fulfilled in the future<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And so much more&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Along with prayer, daily reading of the Bible is important in your growth as a Christian. It will make you grow closer to God and improve your relationship with God. Reading the Bible will feed your soul the truth it hungers for instead of all the lies it&#8217;s received from the world. The more you read, the more you&#8217;ll understand and believe, and your faith will grow, as well as your desire to please God by being obedient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So get a good Bible and start a journey with God learning the truth<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Below are some scripture verses from the Bible, about the faithfulness and effectiveness of the Word of God<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size\">In the beginning, <strong>was the Word<\/strong>, and <strong>the Word was with God<\/strong>, and <strong>the Word was God<\/strong>. \u2014John 1:1<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Then Jesus said to them, \u201cYou foolish people! You find it so hard to believe all that the prophets wrote in the Scriptures. Wasn\u2019t it clearly predicted that the Messiah would have to suffer all these things before entering his glory?\u201d <strong>Then Jesus took them through the writings of Moses and all the prophets, explaining from all the Scriptures the things concerning himself<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By this time they were nearing Emmaus and the end of their journey. Jesus acted as if he were going on, but they begged him, \u201cStay the night with us since it is getting late.\u201d So he went home with them. As they sat down to eat, he took the bread and blessed it. Then <strong>he broke it and gave it to them. Suddenly, their eyes were opened, and they recognized him. And at that moment he disappeared!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They said to each other, <strong>\u201cDidn\u2019t our hearts burn within us as he talked with us on the road and explained the Scriptures to us?\u201d<\/strong> \u2014Luke 24:25-33<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Put on salvation as your helmet, and <strong>take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God<\/strong>. \u2014Ephesians 6:17<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For <strong>the word of God is living and active<\/strong>, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and <strong>discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart<\/strong>. \u2014Hebrews 4:12<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>All Scripture is breathed out by God<\/strong> and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, <strong>that the man of God may be complete<\/strong>, equipped for every good work. \u20142 Timothy 3:16-17<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.<\/strong> \u2014Psalm 119:105<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But <strong>be doers of the word<\/strong>, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. \u2014James 1:22<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How can a young man keep his way pure?<br>By guarding it according to your word.<\/strong> \u2014Psalm 119:9<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But he said, \u201c<strong>Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it<\/strong>!\u201d \u2014Luke 11:28<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The grass withers, the flower fades, but <strong>the word of our God will stand forever<\/strong>. \u2014Isaiah 40:8<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This God\u2014his way is perfect;<br><strong>the word of the Lord proves true<\/strong>;<br>he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him. \u2014Psalm 18:30<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them<\/strong> will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. \u2014Matthew 7:24<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Heaven and earth will pass away, but <strong>my words will not pass away<\/strong>. \u2014Matthew 24:35<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The unfolding of <strong>your words gives light;<br>it imparts understanding to the simple<\/strong>. \u2014Psalm 119:130<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But he answered, \u201c<strong>It is written<\/strong>, \u2018Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.\u2019\u201d \u2014Matthew 4:4<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Word of God\" width=\"780\" height=\"439\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/P9d4p5faTlU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reading the Bible is the only way to get to know God and increase our knowledge of God (the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit).
