But I say to you that listen, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,
bless those who curse you, and pray for those who abuse you.
Do to others as you would have them do to you.
But love your enemies, do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return. Your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High; for he is kind to the ungrateful and the wicked.
Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. \u2014 Luke 6:27-36<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I give you a new commandment,
that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.
By this everyone will know that you are my disciples if you have love for one another. \u2014John 13:34-35<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ten Commandments<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. And God spoke all these words, saying,
    \u201cI am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.\u201d
    You shall have no other gods before me.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Honor your father and your mother.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. You shall not murder.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. You shall not commit adultery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. You shall not steal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor’s. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    \u201cWhich commandment is the most important of all?\u201d
    Jesus answered, \u201cThe most important is, \u2018Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.
    And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.\u2019<\/strong>
    The second is this: \u2018You shall love your neighbor as yourself.<\/strong>\u2019 There is no other commandment greater than these.\u201d \u2014Mark 12:28-31<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
    so that you may be children of your Father in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the righteous and on the unrighteous. \u2014Matthew 5:44-45<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducee’s, they gathered together.
    And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question to test him.
    \u201cTeacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?\u201d
    And he said to him, \u201cYou shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.
    This is the great and first commandment.
    And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
